Jun 1923 by Topical Press PhotoView of new Southwark Bridge, looking north-west from the south bank. The Dome of St Paul’s Cathedral can just be seen in the background on the other side of the Thames, and construction is underway to the left of the North side of the bridge. There is no visible traffic on the bridge or river, though two short barges are moored at the riverside in the foreground.
